Girls Bring-A-Friend Ultimate Frisbee Clinic

Calling all girl-matching* ultimate players!!! Have a friend interested in learning how to play ultimate? Portland Ultimate is partnering with SOAR (Portland's professional women's ultimate frisbee team) to put on beginner-friendly girl-matching player clinics. This is your chance to invite a friend who’s curious about ultimate! Join us for these all-level clinics for beginner and experienced girl-matching players! Registration is free for both clinics! Clinic 1 Open to all incoming 6th-8th graders! Sunday, August 23rd, 11 am - 1 pm Where: TBA Clinic 2 Open to all incoming 3rd-5th graders! Sunday, August 30th, 11 am - 1 pm Where: TBA Who’s invited? Girl-matching ultimate players going into 3rd-8th grade, and any friend who identifies as a girl-matching player and wants to try ultimate for the first time! Interested in learning ultimate but don't know anyone in our programs? That's okay too! Come on out and meet some new friends! These clinics will focus on: Fun, confidence-building drills Small scrimmages with lots of touches Connecting with other girl-matching players Learning from woman-matching coaches If you’ve been wanting to invite a friend to try ultimate then this is the perfect opportunity. Low pressure, lots of support, and tons of fun! *Who is a girl-matching player? Portland Ultimate welcomes all players and want them to participate in programs in which they feel most comfortable and safe. Our girl-matching programs are for players who identify as a girl, are comfortable marking and defending girls, or feel that this is the best place for them - regardless of their gender identity.
